DJ Cheb i Sabbah’s ‘Krishna Lila’ collects a number of re-interpreted (and remixed) Indian classical chants about Krishna. My favorite is this one, ‘Rupa Tujhe Deva’. I looked around to see if I could find any more about this particular song. I think it’s part of the Krishna-Lila-Tarangini, a long series of tales about Krishna from his birth to his marriage to Rukmini.
