Blogging Politics
In the middle of rereading the article I just posted, “The F.A.Q.’s of Lehman and A.I.G.”, I had a realization: I don’t have the time to dissect the massive con game that is the U.S. financial/political system.
The convoluted and sophisticated array of financial, social, psychological, and behavioral mind games in those arenas overwhelm my ability to see any truth (other than to observe that these kind of things tend to happen when you turn the money supply over to the government).
So until things return to a manageable level, I’ll resort to tossing out dark, witty, or dark and witty quotes.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
